Duco Sickinghe

Duco Sickinghe holds a Master in Law and Business Administration. His technology-and media career spans over 22 years. Duco Sickinghe started to pave his way in Switzerland, at Hewlett Packard’s financial department before moving to Germany as Director Europe for LaserJet. Back at HP he expanded the companies European indirect sales channels. In 1991 Duco joined NeXT Computer, first as VP Marketing Europe, later as GM France.
In 1994 he co-founded Software Direct and became its CEO, later leading it into a joint venture with Hachette Distribution in Paris. In 1996 Duco Sickinghe became GM for Kluwer Publishing in The Netherlands, successfully restructuring the traditional fortes of the company into electronic media.
In 2001 he became CEO for Telenet. Sickinghe is a board member for Zenitel and CME.
